About Us

A gospel ministry rooted in worship, faith, and transformation through Jesus Christ.

Who We Are

SHALOM CHOIR RWANDA is one of Rwanda’s well-known gospel choir ministries, serving under ADEPR Nyarugenge in Kigali. Since its establishment in 1986, the choir has grown from a small children’s choir into a respected worship ministry whose music and message have touched thousands of believers across Rwanda and beyond. The choir originally began as Korali Umunezero, made up mostly of teenagers aged 15–17. In 1990, it officially became “Shalom Choir,” marking a new chapter of worship, evangelism, and musical excellence. The choir was deeply affected by the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi but later rebuilt with faith and perseverance, continuing to serve God through worship.
